Designed for dark winter mornings and evenings at the yard, the Equisafety LED Beanie combines a warm knitted hat with a powerful LED light built directly into the front.
Ideal for bringing horses in from the field, mucking out, filling haynets, walking across dark yards, checking rugs or working around stables, the forward-facing LED provides hands-free illumination exactly where you need it.
- Insulation: Knitted hats trap tiny pockets of air within the fabric fibres. Your body heats up this trapped air, creating a warm barrier against the cold outside.
- Exposed Skin Protection: While your head only accounts for 7% to 10% of your body's surface area, it is usually the only part left uncovered when you wear a winter coat, trousers, and boots. Covering it plugs the main "leak" where heat can escape.
- Frostbite Defence: Your ears have thin skin and low blood flow, making them highly vulnerable to frostbite. A hat provides critical protection for them.
- Comfort and Perception: The face and head are packed with sensitive nerve endings. Keeping your head warm tricks your nervous system into feeling warmer and more comfortable overall.
