May has been dedicated to the UK’s equestrian routes; raising awareness of off-road riding and applauding the fantastic efforts of the BHS volunteers, local authorities and organisations who protect and restore multi-user routes across the UK. All while raising money for the BHS Paths for Communities Fund to help us to do more in your local area!
This year we've teamed up with the National Trust to offer riders the chance to saddle up and explore beautiful scenic views over five National Trust estates, with at least one in each nation of the UK! Click on the links below to find out more and book on now. As well as National Trust, BHS committees and Approved Centres are holding events across the UK to get involved! Find an event near you on the BHS in your area pages.
New events are always coming in so keep an eye out. You can download the 2016 Ride Out UK round up for a taste of what took place last year.
Fundraise
Sponsored rides, clearance parties, bake-offs, poo-picks or let your imagination run wild! There are some great ways to raise money for the BHS Paths For Communities Fund to repair, restore or develop your local routes. Prizes will be handed out to the individual, group and Approved Centre who has donated the most money to the BHS.
Volunteer
Leave your hoof prints in equestrian history – help to restore, record or create a route by joining the community of BHS volunteers to put your area on the map! Contact access@bhs.org.uk to find out more.
Donate
Whether you’re a BHS member or not, you can always make a donation to our BHS Paths for Communities Fund. Remember, these funds enable us to make a difference to the world of equestrian access.
